Watering Method
Water thoroughly until it drains from the bottom, then empty the saucer. Let the top 4-5 cm of soil dry before the next watering.
Soil Mix
Airy, well-draining mix: standard houseplant soil with about a third perlite or bark added.
Repotting
Repot every 2 years in spring, one pot size up. It tolerates being slightly root-bound.
Pruning
Pinch or cut stems just above a leaf node in spring or summer. Pruned cuttings root easily in water.
Pot Preference
Any pot with a drainage hole; hanging pots and shelf pots both work. Terracotta helps if you tend to overwater.
Fertilizing
Feed monthly from March to September with half-strength liquid houseplant fertilizer. Skip feeding entirely from October to February.

Despite the shop name 'satin pothos', it isn't a true pothos: Scindapsus keeps one seed per fruit, Epipremnum has many. The silver spots are air pockets between leaf layers that scatter light.
